PROFESSOR SUBRATA GHOSH

Subrata Ghosh is the Director of the Institute of Translational Medicine and Professor of Translational Medicine, University of Birmingham, UK. Previously he was Professor of Medicine at the University of Calgary, Canada, and cross-appointed as Professor of Immunology and Microbiology. He has also worked in England as Professor of Gastroenterology at the Imperial College London, Hammersmith Hospital. Dr Ghosh is a member of the International Organization for the Study of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IOIBD). He has been editor in chief of the Canadian Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and sits on the editorial boards of several journals. Dr Ghosh’s research interests are focused on translational immunology of inflammatory bowel disease and novel therapeutic approaches.
